Couldn’t I be seven times worse after deliverance?

We hear this fear-filled question frequently. The person has heard a scripture( it;s in Matthew 12:4 but but misquote it badly. The scripture actually prepares us for the reality that after deliverance that a spirits cast out of a person will seek to come back. That alone should tell us that we need some teaching after deliverance about what to expect. The verses says that when the spirit will bring seven other spirits (more wicked than itself) so that the person can, if they are not prepared, indeed be worse off than before because now they could have eight spirits. It does not have to be that way that is why Jesus warns us to be ready.

How Do You Know If Someone Needs Deliverance?

Many Christians have seen people who have manifested demons. It does not take much spiritual discernment at times to recognize true evil. Maybe You’ll see rage, snarling, a different look in their eyes. However, sometimes are much more subtle. We like to find out if there are behaviors or issues in a person’s life that they cannot get the victory over? These can represent demoniic strongholds and include such things such as depression, anger, fear, lust and addictions to name a few. THere are not demons behind every problem in a person’s life many can benefit from going through deliverance.
