I was dealing with a critical tongue and having issues from generational curses from a German heritage.

What issues were you dealing with? Be specific.
As a couple, we were having trouble with communication, trust and respect due to some situations that we had gone through. Individually, we were also struggling with personal issues to include generational curses, word curses, fear of what others thought, depression, and pride.
How where they affecting you?
Our marriage was on the rocks when we sought counsel from Dr. Ibbitson. We had even considered divorce. The personal issues that we were each dealing with had also affected our communication and relationship as a couple and were keeping us from becoming the disciples that the Lord had called us to be.

My early life was full of emotional pain. I lived with a sense of rejection that I am now sure was generational, and came through my mother’s family line. I am convinced also that the influence of freemasonry in our ancestry played a role in my childhood spiritual problems. I came to A&B Counseling for counseling to move past “whatever had a hold of me or whatever I was holding onto that surrounded my past”. That is what I said when I sat down.
