I had a lifelong tobacco addiction that was also a family addiction. Through interview, counseling and prayer I discovered underlying abandonment and rejection fears that had never been addressed or faced. God’s not given us a spirit of fear, but the demonic kingdom seeks to indwell and torment believers with one or more spirits of fear. “Fear” is a ruling spirit or strongman that rules over worry, anxiety, nervousness, phobias, abandonment and others. I was dealing with fear in being failure with Lord. Double minded not focused.
How where they affecting you?
In not moving forward to accomplish tasks Lord asked of me. Felt fear when moved ahead, chose to stay in comfort even though I was disobedient.
